2024-2025 Technical School Scholarship Application

Harry H. Hardie-James Rumsey Scholarship Fund – Est. Scholarship: $500-$1,000

Criteria: Recipient must be a graduate of Musselman High School, accepted to attend James Rumsey Technical Institute, based on financial need. May be renewable for one additional year. Must reapply to be considered.

Millers Electric Scholarship Fund – Est. Scholarship: $500

Criteria: Recipient must be a graduate of a Berkeley County high school or GED program, planning to continue their education at James Rumsey Technical Institute seeking certification or an associate degree in Electrical orElectromechanical Technology, Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, or Culinary Arts, based onfinancial need. May be renewable for one additional year. Must reapply to be considered.

Rumsey Scholarship Fund – Est. Scholarship: $500

Criteria: Recipient must be a graduate of a Berkeley, Jefferson or Morgan County high school or GED program, planning to continue their education at James Rumsey Technical Institute seeking certification or an associate degree in any offered program, based on financial need. May be renewable for one additional year. Must reapply to be considered.

Baker ACE Scholarship Fund — Est. Scholarship: $1,000

Criteria: Recipient must be a graduate of a Berkeley, Jefferson or Morgan County high school, planning to continue their education at James Rumsey Technical Institute attending the Advanced Career Education Electrical Engineering program, have been a junior or senior who has successfully completed one or more courses at Rumsey: Carpentry, Electrical Technician or Masonry.

The Community Foundation reserves the right to reconsider scholarship awards if an applicant receives significant or additional scholarships.

TIMELINE

Completed application packages must be submitted by Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Successful applicants will be notified no later than July 12th.
Scholarship awards will be sent directly to James Rumsey by July 26th.
