Purpose: To honor the legacy of Reverend Gruver and the impact he had on his church and community, this scholarship supports individuals who want to pursue religious studies, preferably in the Christian faith.

Criteria: An eligible recipient must be a graduate of a Berkeley, Jefferson, or Morgan County high school, either public, private or home school; a graduate of or graduating from an accredited four-year college or university; and have acceptance to a theological seminary or other religious studies institution, preferably teaching the Christian faith.

Applying: To apply for a Gruver Scholarship, complete the application below. Applications are accepted year-round until funding for the year is exhausted.

Payment: Scholarship payments are made directly to the institution on behalf of the student.

Please note: Individuals related to current EWVCF Board Members, staff, and/or the funds’ donors are not eligible.
