In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis it has created for our local nonprofit organizations, the Board of Directors of the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation has established the EWVCF COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. Targeted to assist nonprofit organizations in the five-county region served by the Community Foundation (Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire, and Hardy), the new fund will focus on critical needs in our communities.
Thanks to our donors, 100% of the contributions to the EWVCF COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund will be distributed to charities that are addressing these needs and no fees will be charged for administering this special pass-through fund.
Individuals, businesses, and civic organizations are encouraged to make tax-deductible donations today. The Fund has grown to more than $81,000 and we hope to reach our initial goal of $100,000 by early next week.
When you become a donor, you are supporting your community and the causes you care about most. You can direct your contribution to our EWVCF COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund or any of our endowed funds.
Or if you prefer, you can send a check payable to EWVCF with the name of the fund in the memo line. Checks may be mailed to:
Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation
229 E. Martin Street, Suite 4

Gifts can be made in honor of someone’s birthday, graduation, or anniversary. And, we receive many contributions in memory of loved ones who have passed.
