Current Grant Opportunities:
The Hardy County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for funding from Community Impact Fund and the Deanna Wilson and J Cavanagh STEM Fund. Applications will be considered for programs or projects serving Hardy County in the following areas: Animal Welfare, Arts & Culture, Children & Youth, Community & Economic Development, Education, the Environment, Health & Wellness, Human Services, and STEM programming for students in grades k-12. Grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded.

Scholarships
The deadline to apply for scholarships using our online application has passed. We will notify the students who are selected to receive those scholarships in May.
The following application has its own application and timeline:
The Jerry Shingleton Scholarship (Est. Scholarship: $300) supports students graduating from a high school in Hampshire or Hardy counties wanting to continue their education or training in an automotive technology field with the intent to graduate with a degree or certification. Eligible applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and have financial need. May be renewable.
The East Hardy County Vo-Tech Training Scholarship (East. Scholarship: $500) Resident of East Hardy County (as defined by the Hardy County Board of Education); East Hardy County high school graduate or General Education Development (GED) with a minimum 2.0 GPA; be accepted by a vocational, technical or trade school with the intent to graduate with a degree or certification; have proven financial need. May be renewable.
