Our Endowed Funds

The Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation manages over 250 component funds established by donors primarily to serve Jefferson, Berkeley, Morgan, Hampshire, and Hardy counties.  The minimum gift required for a donor to establish a fully endowed, named Unrestricted or Field-of-Interest Fund is $5,000. Agency, Designated, and Donor Advised Fund minimums are $10,000, with the annual foundation support fee for these funds currently being 1%. To establish an Endowed Scholarship Fund, the minimum is $20,000 with a current annual foundation support fee of 2%. Seed funds may be established with as little as $500-$2,000 (depending on fund type), with the intention of growing the fund to a fully endowed level within five years.
