Since 1995, the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation has worked to strengthen our region by connecting generous donors with the most pressing needs across Berkeley, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson and Morgan Counties. As a trusted center for charitable giving, we support the arts, fight hunger, expand literacy, improve health, and champion countless initiatives that enhance quality of life in our communities.
This work is made possible by a broad network of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations united by a shared commitment to making our region stronger.
Over the past decade, our Partners in Philanthropy—comprised of local, regional, and national companies—have contributed nearly $400,000 to support this mission. These investments directly strengthen our grantmaking through programs such as Mini-Grants to Teachers and our Community Impact Funds, helping address critical needs and creating lasting change.
Across our five-county region, the Community Foundation continues to support nonprofits and the individuals and families they serve. Beyond annual sponsorships, many of our business partners deepen their impact by establishing donor-advised funds (DAFs), creating a flexible and lasting way to invest in the causes they care about most.
