Local Leadership . . . Local Assets . . . Local Needs!

Our Mission? To improve the quality of life in Hardy County by connecting people who care with the causes that matter to them most.

Our Vision? To Gather Grow and Grant. Our goal is to build or gather a permanent endowment for our community. Gifts of any amount build our local strength. Rather than spend your gift, we invest it, and grow its worth. Then, each year, earnings from investment are used to provide grants and scholarships to the charities and needy members of our community.

But, what exactly is a community foundation?
A community foundation is a tax-exempt public charity created by and for the people in a local area.
It enables people with philanthropic interests to easily and effectively support the issues they care about — immediately, or through planned gifts. Individuals, families and organizations establish charitable funds with us to give back to the community in ways that help others today and for future generations. It’s easy to start a fund with a gift of cash, stock, real estate or almost any asset. We can help you plan a gift that meets your charitable goals.
