July 12th would have been Capt. David A. “Hawk” Hawkens 55th birthday. Although he’s been gone almost 20 years, he will be remembered always thanks to the generosity of his family and friends who established an endowed scholarship fund in his Memory. It is our privilege to help honor his life.

Scholarship Awards
Awarding student scholarships is one of the most fun and satisfying times of the year at EWVCF—and a lot of diligent work for the Foundation staff, as they carefully review applications each spring from students throughout the Eastern Panhandle, and conduct student interviews of the finalists. And on May 12, 2015, we made the awards to this group of very accomplished and deserving students. Visit our EWVCF Scholarship Facebook page for more photos from the reception.
